Can AI Find You? How Contractors Get Chosen in the Age of ChatGPT and Google AI Mode (9 AM)

In this breakout session, you’ll learn how homeowners are finding contractors today. They aren’t just Googling anymore. They’re asking ChatGPT, Gemini, and Google’s AI Mode who to hire, and those tools are deciding whether you make the list. We’ll break down how AI search actually works and what it pulls from: your Name, Address, and Phone matching everywhere, the reviews it reads and trusts, the YouTube videos that get you pulled into answers, and the website must-haves that keep you from being invisible. You’ll see the difference between how Google and ChatGPT search, and why one mismatch or missing piece gets you skipped. You’ll leave with a clear checklist you can hand your team Monday morning. If AI can’t find you, verify you, and trust you, you’re not in the conversation. This session fixes that.

Trust That Closes: Be the Yellow Ball (1 PM)

In this breakout session, you’ll learn why the contractor who wins the job is rarely the cheapest one. It’s the one the homeowner trusts before you ever ring the doorbell. Picture a bucket full of white balls and one yellow ball. The yellow ball is the one you notice. That’s you. We’ll walk through the sales process step by step and show where trust is built or lost: how a simple text and email the moment a lead comes in sets you apart, why speed to lead beats a better pitch, why most contractors quit following up far too soon, and what to send before the inspection so the homeowner already knows your name and your work. Then we’ll cover how visuals in the home and a clean proposal turn a good appointment into a signed contract. Be the yellow ball.
